Key Responsibilities

Working as part of a talented development team, you'll:
  • Design, build and enhance software applications
  • Work with modern technologies, cloud platforms and development tools
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance and security standards are met
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software to ensure functionality and stability
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers to deliver high quality products
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for software applications and processes
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development methodologies and practices within the team

Technical Skills & Requirements

What We're Looking For
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Python or JavaScript – or other object-orientated language
  • Understanding of software development principles, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
  • Experience working on software projects, either academic or personal, demonstrating practical application of programming skills.
  • Knowledge of development tools and environments such as Git, Docker, Jenkins, Azure Devops or JIRA.
  • Appreciation of modern cloud technologies to support software deployment (eg. Azure, AWS), with an understanding of core concepts such as scalability, security and reliability
  • Experience with, or a willingness to learn, Microsoft Blazor for building modern web applications using C# and .NET 
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices and principles.
  • Appreciation of current AI technologies and practical experience using AI-assisted tools to support software development, problem solving, or learning – with an understanding of the need to review, validate and use AI outputs responsibly


Competency Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem- solving abilities with an attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-orientated environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and staying current with industry advancements
